Practical LC/MS

The Practical LC/MS APP is an e-Learning training application for LC/MS scientists and support personnel. The program features workshops presented by Dr. Jack Henion. Three LC/MS courses are currently available including LC/MS 101 (Basics for Non-Technical Personnel); Practical LC/MS (An Introduction to API LC/MS Techniques); and Interpretation of CID Mass Spectra. The e-Learning courses range in length from one and one-half hours to twelve hours in duration. Each course features Dr. Henion filmed before live classroom audiences and includes the video, audio and slide content of his presentations in their entirety. The content can be viewed on any computer, mobile phone or tablet device. To obtain access, companies, educational institutions or individuals may purchase subscriptions to the course content and have access during the subscription period. Subscriptions remain in effect from six to 12 months, depending on the course, and are accessible anywhere world-wide, 24-7. Dr. Henion is Emeritus Professor of Toxicology at Cornell University where he was a member of the College of Veterinary Medicine from 1976-2006. Professor Henion is a co-founder of Advion BioSciences where he was Chairman, President, and CEO of Advion. BioSciences, Inc. Recently Advion BioSerivces was acquired by Quintiles and Prof. Henion holds a half-time appointment with this company. He also has a half-time appointment with Advion, Inc. which has recently launched the ‘Chip-Mate’ nano LC ESI system as well as a new, personal and compact API single quadrupole mass spectrometer.
