Celebrate the 1900\\\\\\\'s

From February 1998 to May 2000, the U. S. Postal Service issued ten sheets of stamps commemorating the important events of each of the decades in the 20th century. This series of stamps were identified as “Celebrate the Century” and each featured 15 different historical happenings. The first in the series covering events from 1900 to 1909 featured the following events:· Creation of the Ford Model T· Life of President Theodore Roosevelt· Making of the movie “Great Train Robbery”· Marketing of Crayola crayons· Opening of the St. Louis World
