AIM Factory Planning

This factory planning and simulation application has been developed during the Amplifying Innovation in Manufacturing (AIM) research project by the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering (DIME), University of Malta. This project is part of the ERDF083 - Manufacturing Research Platform, administered by the Malta Council of Science and Technology (MCST). This application allows manufacturing system designers to model and simulate their innovative manufacturing solutions, and provides feedback in terms of possible problems that can occur, through a knowledge based system, and information about parameters such as Cost, Quality, and Environmental Impact.
