Designed only for use by the members of the American Pharmacists Association, the APhA DrugInfoLine app provides summaries of important clinical studies and guidelines published since 2000. New articles are posted weekly, and actions taken by the Food and Drug Administration are posted on an ongoing basis within a few hours after announcement. Clinical literature in all major organ systems is covered, including cardiology, respiratory, gastroenterology, neurology, psychiatry, nephrology, endocrinology, and rheumatology. Infectious diseases and oncology are also covered, as are OTC medicines, alternative medicines, drug interactions, and pharmacogenomics. Special attention is paid to lipids, anticoagulation, asthma, diabetes, HIV infection, and immunizations.
